Time to press forward.

I desperately need to set new goals, especially during this time of the quarantine. My goals are straight forward and obtainable, which is key for me right now as I am still working through my injuries and cannot do as much as before. I need consistency more than ever before and so I am going to start slow, work on making my new goals a pattern, a new habit again and then over time work up from there.

Over the next week my goals are to post my meals daily (good or bad) work on getting in my daily requirements of water instead of sipping on coffee all day! For fitness goals over this week I want to continue walking daily as it’s so key for physical and even more importantly, it’s vital for mental health. I also will be getting back on the Peloton, aiming to ride 15 mins per day, 5 days a week. For strength training, I need to continue my PT and yoga daily as it is helping me strengthen my core, neck and shoulders which are so weak, and in need of a long recovery back. I am still working through my neck and shoulder problems so I need to be careful not to rush this part of my comeback as I could very quickly go from journey back to a new injury. I’ve lived and learned my way through this far too many times.
